		<description>Kimberly,

I have done most of my work in Photoshop, including brochures. It is better to use Photoshop for the overall images and Illustrator for the text but is not required.

Exporting as a PDF is the best format. Just be sure to stay aware from cheap programs as most of the time they cause issues with real printers like Vista Print.

Glad this article helped you out.

Let me know how I can help you.

<description>I&#039;ve been tossing the idea of a flyer/brochure back and forth for some time now for my main website (www.gypsyrosetreasures.com) and this article has given me some great basic tips to follow. I&#039;ve used several programs in the past and I&#039;ve learned how to make simple flyers using Word -- however, I think I am going to check out prices at Kinkos and see what I can come up with at Vista Print to outsource. I&#039;m wondering how simple it will be to design one in Photoshop? Then all I would have to do is send/upload the psd. I could also turn the word doc into a pdf as well .. oh the options. What are some options you would suggest?

thanks for the article! Off to brainstorm a storyboard for the new flyer!!</description>
